Elko's Entertainment Stop

DLC features live music, trivia, poetry, storytelling, open mic nights, poetry and other entertainments performed by local, regional, and national artists including theater productions like the highly popular Poe & Pints and Bard in the Yard events. Said current Elko City Mayor Chris Johnson, "If you’re looking for art in the atmosphere of downtown Elko, the Duncan LittleCreek Gallery and Wine Bar is a sure bet,” Johnson said in his introduction. “During the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, their open mic night is one of the most popular in town with poets and storytellers.”

Over the years, DLC has also been voted “Best Bar” and “Best Place for Live Entertainment” in the Elko Daily Free Press Readers’ Choice Awards and is a favorite destination for locals and area visitors alike. It’s a great place to see live music, plays, artist receptions, book parties, weddings, and other occasions.

Gleewood @ DLC Gallery

February 13, 2018, 7 - 9:30 PM

Gleewood is a Americana Rock band that grooves through blues, folk, and rock 'n' roll. Lead by Jhett and Callie Sioux their lyrics lend a story to folk and roots music enthusiasts and bring an energy that swells into dynamic jams pumped from the heart of the psychedelic 60s. Gleewood is steeped in a vintage vibe and is poured out over an icy fresh dose of the 21st century. Jhett's bass baritone grit welds uniquely with Callie's high, clear, soprano vocals to create a sound that Why We Listen, LA described as "Coffee and cream with a shot of whiskey."

Talk Around Town

“DLC hosts a bunch of cultural unique events in Elko. From plays, to concerts and a bunch of random game nights. For my Celiac Disease brothers and sisters they do serve a few gluten-free beers. Very friendly staff, I usually tip more here than at other bars in Elko. Overall, best bar in Elko.”
